In this episode, host Sara wraps up the month with a new episode of The First Gen Madrina Podcast! This gives us a brand new episode for this month's theme, Pivoting as a First Gen!
In the first episode for this season, Sara shares with us the different ways that first gens can make pivots in their lives. In this episode, she dives deep into what pivoting means specifically for her. She shares how she has made pivots and will continue to make them. She also shares with us a story of her family's experience with pivoting while they were in Cuba as well as after they came to the United States. Sara realized that she comes from a long line of family that have had to make pivots in their lives. She recognized that although her family had to pivot out of necessity, she can now pivot on purpose.
