E-68 The Power of Community as a First Gen with Jenny Troya Biggers

Sara Diaz Season 15 Episode 68

Dear First Gens,

In this episode, host Sara welcomes guest Jennifer Troya Biggers to The First Gen Madrina Podcast! This gives us a brand new episode for this month's theme, The Power of Community as a First Gen!

Jennifer Troya Biggers, better know at Jenny, is a proud first-gener. She is of Ecuadorian and Honduran descent. She is a working mom with many endeavors. In her career, she is dedicated to creating accessible learning experiences for learners with disabilities in higher education and professional programs.

She is also known as an award winning letter artist and maker of pretty things. She has been featured on Buzzfeed, known for her partnerships with various brands, but her favorite thing to do and share is how she builds/finds community wherever she goes!  She is fueled by coffee, her children’s laughter, and Southern California’s beautiful weather.
